LONDON – Could the 5-day grind finally be over? Results from the world's largest trial of a 4-day work week are in, and they are overwhelmingly positive.

Over 60 companies participated in the six-month experiment where employees worked 80% of their hours for 100% of their pay. The goal was to maintain 100% productivity.

"92% of the companies involved have decided to keep the 4-day week permanently. Employee burnout dropped by 71%."

Researchers found that revenue actually increased slightly during the trial period. Employees reported better sleep, less stress, and more time for family and hobbies.

A Win-Win Situation?

Critics feared that productivity would slump, but the opposite happened. "People were more focused," said one CEO. "When you know you have a three-day weekend coming, you get the work done."
